Hand woven in our studio with repurposed wool strips. These rag rugs are thick and plush. Double sided for practical use! 
Strips were created by sewing different pieces together. Thus a beautiful patchwork is created. Wool in teal, brown, cranberry, grey, purple, and pink are used.
The weave is a pretty twill, not always visible, the pattern adds some texture and visual interest. At the right angle, the diamond pattern emerges! 
The warp is natural cottolin (60%cotton, 40% linen), knotted at either end with a small fringe.
