Table Loom Weaving - scarf weaving

Service Description

Learn the art of table loom weaving and create your own unique scarf. Our professional weaving teacher will guide you through each step of the process, from learning about your loom, designing and planning your project, selecting a pattern, to winding a warp, dressing your loom, and reading a printed 4s pattern. Choose from our extensive selection of natural fibers, including wool and alpaca yarns, and learn how to choose the perfect yarns for your project. This fun and educational experience is perfect for anyone looking to learn a new hobby and create something beautiful. Join us and experience the joy of weaving. No experience necessary. This class is held over 2 days, the second date to be determine in class. The first date will cover all of our learning and prepping our yarns, materials etc. By the end of the class you'll have your loom dressed and begin weaving! The second class will cover finishing up weaving, removing from the loom, finishing, wet finishing, pressing and enjoying your scarf! I do have a small number of table looms that can be used for the class. You are very welcome to bring you own. Loom requirements: Table loom, or folding floor loom. 4 Shafts +. 10+" wide weaving width, 10 or 8 dent reed.
