Wrap your little ones in warmth and tradition with this hand-knit children's sweater featuring double layer collar, full length sleeves, and the most intricate colour work patterened yoke and sleeves. The main colour is red, with white on the bottom sleeve detail. The yoke and top of the sleeves, however, are crafted using cream, yellow, green, and pink. It appears new, with no wear. Each piece is lovingly crafted by an unknown knitter, somehow found it's way to a used clothing store, where I simply cannot leave a hand crafted item. While not made of natural fibres, I choose to keep it out of the landfill and allow it to benefit another family, hopefully sharing the love the original knitter gave it - embodying our commitment to slow fashion. Perfect for chilly days, our one-of-a-kind sweater brings timeless style and eco-friendly charm to your child's wardrobe.

There is a tradition in knitting that a knitters love and previous time enters the sweater or item they knit and is passed onto the wearer. These sweaters have been donated and found their way to the shelves of used goods stores. I love thrifting and It always saddens me to see these hand mades left. I used to leave them, but visit after visit, these items languished. So I started bringing them home, mending, washing and caring for them in the hopes of finding them loving homes to continue on their makers love.

*Please note. Some colours may appear slightly different from screen to physical item.
